THE SMOKING JACKETS is a band from Lansing, Michigan. We play classic rock, 80's tunes, and newer dancy stuff. Do you want to hear some old Alan Parsons Project or Steely Dan songs? How about some Justin Timberlake or Nelly? Maybe a little Led Zeppelin or Free? Something newer from Kid Rock or Ben Harper? We play all that stuff. And we do it well. How about Michael Jackson followed by Weezer? Or Stevie Wonder followed by Cake? Let's do it.

Partying with your mom tonight? Taking your daughters out? Everybody is going to have a good time and hear a bunch of songs that'll make them want to dance. We look forward to seeing you shake your thing on the dance floor - because we know you will.

The backbone of our band started playing together in 2001, and fully realized The Smoking Jackets in 2008 - Chad Woodman on drums, Andy Trotter on guitar, Peter Myers on keyboards, Mike Smalley on bass, and Jacob Joy on lead vocals.
